Ingredients
- 1 cup Moong Dal
- 1/4 Cup Chana Dal
- 1 medium Onion (Chopped)
- Coriander Leaves (Chopped)
- 1/2 tsp Roasted Cumin Seeds
- 1 Pinch Asafoetida
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
- Salt to taste
- Grated Radish for Garnishing
- Coriander-Mint Chutney for Garnishing
Method:
- Soak both moong dal and chana dal overnight. Grind it to make paste by adding water. (Do not grind too much)
- Now whisk dal batter continuously for 5-7 minutes.
- Now add all the ingredients except baking soda in the batter one by one.
- Mix all the ingredients.
- Now add baking soda and whisk well.
- Now deep fry ram ladoo on medium flame till golden brown.
- Now remove ram ladoo from oil and place it on paper napkin to remove excess oil.
- Finally garnish it with grated radish and chutney.
- Serve with tea.
