Dal Vada





Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup Chana Dal (Soaked for 4-5 Hrs)
  • 1 Onion (Finely Chopped)
  • 1 Green Chilli (Chopped)
  • Coriander Leaves (Chopped)
  • 1 Tsp Soda
  • 1 Tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • Salt to taste


Method:

  1. Drain the soaked chana dal very well and grind to a course mixture without adding water in a grinder.
  2. Add Onion,Green Chilli, Coriander Leaves, Soda, Red chilli powder and salt to the dal mixture.
  3. Mix all the ingredients together.
  4. The mixture should be moist and it must bind together while making Vada's.
  5. Make small dal vada and deep fry them on medium flame until golden brown.
  6. Serve it hot with Chutney or Sauce.
