Holi Special | Suji Dahi Bhalla




Ingredients:

  • 1 Bowl Semolina (Suji)
  • 2 Bowl Water
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Oil
  • 1 Bowl Curd
  • 4-5 tsp Imli Chutney
  • 4-5 tsp Coriander Chutney
  • 1 tsp Roasted Cumin Powder
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper Powder
  • 1 tsp Black Salt
  • 1 tsp Red Chill Powder

Method:

  1. Take 2 Bowl Water in a deep pan and add 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp oil in it. Mix well and Bring it to boil.
  2. Now add 1 Bowl Semolina in boiling water by stirring it continuously so that no lumps will left. Keep mixing it till it become thick in consistency.
  3. Switch off the flame and Keep it aside and make it cool for some time.
  4. Mixture is ready. Now we'll start preparing Dahi Bhalla. You can make it in any shape as per your preference.
  5. Bhalla are ready. Now we'll deep fry them on medium low flame.
  6. Heat oil in a wok and Deep Fry on medium low flame.
  7. Now keep the flame on high and Flip it and cook it from other side too till it becomes golden brown.
  8. Suji Bhalla is ready. Soak extra oil on tissue paper. Now we'll start its plating.
  9. We don't need to soak them in water. Suji Bhalla will be served instantly.
  10. Firstly spread 1 Cup  salty curd all over the bhalla's and then add both Tamarind and coriander chutney over it.
  11. Now sprinkle 1 tsp Roasted Cumin Powder, 1 tsp Black pepper powder, 1 tsp Black salt and 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder over it.
  12. Finally add the remaining Curd,Tamarind Chutney and Coriander Chutney over it and serve.
